The client needed the development of a web-based solution, a flagship product for the improvement of clients` cash management activities.

Technical need

Deliver a multifunctional financial web-based solution with a number of tools for:

• Reporting
• Configuration
• Forecasting and reconciliation

And

• Powerful set of security mechanisms

Project overview

Project team followed Rational Unified Process (RUP) development methodology. Software was built as multi-tier enterprise application. The general idea was to create 2 presentation levels:

• Web based accessible through a browser (Portal) providing common functionality like reports generation, import/export, user preferences, status information etc;
• Citrix based for access to additional functionality. User needs only to install Citrix client.

Results

Team of 17 engineers was engaged on the project for 3.5 years which resulted in ~ 10 M lines of code and ~ 500 tables. All of that stands behind the Kyriba Treasury Cockpit solution for effective cash management and powerful security.
