Sergey Pupkevich

I have been with Qulix from the very birth of the company. Kicking off as a Senior Java Developer, I soon grew to become a team lead and a project manager. With time, I found myself surrounded by a certain pool of projects and a team working with them.

In 2009, when Qulix was actively transforming into separate departments, my team and I became the Java department with me at the helm. Market needs had a certain impact on our growth. In 2018, when extended with two other subdivisions (Java and web development), we became just about the largest unit in the company.

Team Building

Country retreat, cozy city cafes, or board games all evening long — these guys know how to relax after hours of hard work. But their spontaneous trips with the participation of the entire department are only a small part of the fun they have together.

For those from our JS department, spending time together outside work has become an irresistible trend, with some entertainments turning into a good tradition. In winter, they go skiing or snowboarding and taste hot kebabs in the cold. In summer, they opt for hiking in the forest and kayaking or even plan some joint trips abroad. In recent years, they visited Oslo, Prague, Vienna, Budapest, Stockholm, and other European cities.
