It is difficult to answer since many software development companies are very similar to each other.

However we have identified the following differences:

• Very high flexibility and very fast reaction (turnaround) time;

It means that we usually try to adhere to wishes of our client. For example, this is related to changes in requirements – although we have a formal procedure of change management (Guideline is included), we usually try to approach each requested change reasonably. Moreover, we are not a big company in terms of size and we really understand that this may bring a lot of benefit to our clients because of a much lower level of bureaucracy and very fast reaction time (all business emails are answered within 2 business hours, changes requests are also implemented quite quickly).

• Focus on stable growth with a professional team rather than on quick extension with unreliable newcomers;

We experience a stable company growth at about 20-25% per year. However the rates of growing were not so high since there was an increasing competition for qualified resources in the local market (Eastern Europe) in the past years. The key point here is that we do not want to hire non-qualified resources even for projects which are already in progress and have open vacancies. Many companies adopt the principle of vigorous growth; however they limit the types of projects they may execute. They have a lot of resources, but they are only capable of running projects of a very low complexity since their Lead/Architectural level is very modest. Rather than sticking to this approach, we are focused on builing a balanced team thus gaining and developing expertise and being able to provide stronger teams.

• Business domain expertise;
