The 4th International Conference SQA Days-2008 Was Held in Minsk with Information Support of Qulix Systems
On the 17th of November the 4th International Conference of Software Quality Assurance Specialists SQA DAYS-2008 was held in the educational center IBB (Minsk, Belarus). More than 350 representatives of the leading IT-companies of Belarus and neighboring countries took part in the conference.
Among the participants one could see QA Engineers, project managers as well as teachers and docents of the universities which prepare students of IT professions. They all got a nice possibility to communicate and exchange the experience with the best IT companies on the actual issues in quality assurance.
The conference was organized by SQALab Company from Moscow in cooperation with the leading Belarusian IT companies and governmental organizations. Thanks to the fruitful cooperation of Belarusian, Russian and Ukrainian experts we managed to sum up the interesting reports of the speakers and stir up an active discussion. All participants expressed their gratitude to the organizers of the conference and the desire to participate in the following conferences.
The chairman of SQA Days-2008 organization committee and CEO of SQALab, Vladislav Orlikov, Moscow, Russia, expressed his gratitude and hopes for the future cooperation:
"The 4th international conference SQA Days-2008 succeeded in Minsk! It's such a pleasure to realize that the conference got positive references and aroused a lively interest not only of the commercial organizations but of governmental ones as well. I'd like to thank all the participants and partners of the conference with the help of whom everything that had been planned fulfilled.
I'd like to express a special gratitude to Qulix Systems representatives who played an important role in organizing the conference and who conducted the main sections of it. Natalia Hustyr and Yulia Baranova could create comfortable and business like atmosphere for effective communication. I hope that there will be more projects of that kind in future which we'll fulfill in close cooperation with Belarusian and Russian companies. I hope the conference was a valuable contribution to the development and prosperity of your business."
Vladislav Orlikov, CEO of SQALab (Moscow, Russia)
At SQA Days-2008 conference Qulix Systems was presented by two speakers Nataila Hustyr and Olga Balashenko. Their reports "Bring Up Your QA Engineer" and "The Reasons For Troubles At The Projects" presented in the form of flip-chart sessions provoked a lively discussion. The audience bombarded the speakers with questions trying to satisfy their curiosity.
The member of the organization committee and the project manager of Qulix Systems, Natalia Hustyr expressed her point of view on the participation in the conference:
"I'm glad that several months of active preparations were not spent in vain. Honestly, we felt a bit nervous about how Minsk audience would perceive the project of that kind. And we were extremely surprised when more than 350 people were overwhelmed by the presented reports. Flip-chart sessions during the brakes made a strong impression on the participants. We saw that this active way of communication appealed to people. There's a strong need for face-to-face communication: round-table talks, workshops, flip-chart discussions. And we'll take it into consideration while preparing next conferences. I'd like to thank all my colleagues from the other countries who managed to come and present their reports and to all the participants. We'll put much effort to make the next conference even better."
