Alexey Makarov

CEO

Alexey Makarov serves as the CEO of Qulix Systems and is one of company's founders. Mr. Makarov has more than twenty years of experience building profitable, high growth information technology companies. He was president and chief executive officer of ZapSib company, a well-known technology company that was a leader in IT management market from 1992 until it was acquired by BelTelecom in 2000. Prior to that, Alexey spent more than 10 years at Tech Systems, Inc., the leading supplier of electronic design products and services, in a succession of executive management positions leading to his role as senior vice president of worldwide marketing. Mr. Makarov holds a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical and computer engineering.

Alexander Arabey

Director of Business Development

Alexander Arabey is the Director of Business Development at Qulix Systems and one of its founders. Before Alexander was senior QA manager for Idiom Corp and managed the quality initiatives there, including general quality strategy, audits, certification. Prior to the QA position, Alexander held Senior Project Manager position for this company and oversaw several software projects. Alexander holds a master's degree in business administration and a bachelor's degree in computer sciences.

Valery Tikhonovich

Director of Solutions Development Department

Mr. Tikhonovich has more than 12 years of management experience across multiple manufacturing and high technology positions. He is the designer of high-end applications development running in Qulix Systems. Valery manages the content, design and development of in-house products including the definition of integrated solutions such as ERP application, business intelligence solutions, custom .NET/JavaEE application development. A professional engineer by education, Mr. Tikhonovich has worked professionally as an electrical and electronic design engineer, as the General Manager and VP of a publicly-traded company, the President and CEO of a software development company, and for the past 4 years as the Vice President at Qulix.

Igor Sheverov

CTO

Igor Sheverov serves as the general manager and vice president of research and development at Qulix, with responsibility for all research and development (R&D) operations. Since joining Qulix in April 2000, Igor has held numerous positions, including vice president of application management and various engineering management positions. Igor earned an M.B.A. from the IPM University and a bachelor's degree in computer engineering from the Byelorussian State University.

Alexander Zhendinsky

QA Manager

Alexander Zhendinsky is Qulix' chief quality officer, responsible for establishing company wide quality practices and methodologies. This includes capturing and monitoring of business processes that affect Qulix' performance and risk management. In addition, Alexander also ensures Qulix' compliance with new global corporate-governance requirements. He brings over 8 years of technology-industry experience to the position. During his five-year tenure at Qulix Systems, Alexander most recently held the position of division director in software testing. Mr. Zhendinsky also held the position of chief technology officer at Araco, an IT services provider, which was later acquired by ConsoftSys.

Anton Pechinsky

Senior Projects Manager and Senior JavaEE Architect

Anton Pechinsky is a Senior Projects Manager and Senior JavaEE Architect at Qulix Systems. Mr. Pechinsky has more than 10 years of experience in research, design and programming of large-scale software projects. Being a person of great ability and talent Anton became one of the leading developers at Qulix. Prior to joining Qulix, he was a Head of System Programming Department in JSSB Belarusbank, where he was responsible for full development cycle including database design and programming. He also held a position of a software programmer in a large software vendor with responsibilities on project management and system administration. Anton Pechinsky holds a Bachelor of Science degree in applied mathematics from Belarusian State University.

Sergey Pupkevich

Senior Projects Manager

Sergey Pupkevich works as a Project Manager (carrying out the responsibilities of a leading JavaEE Developer and JavaEE Architect) at Qulix Systems. Before joining Qulix in 2001, Sergey served as a software developer in Reliable Software Inc. gaining experience in developing product architecture and production environment maintenance. Mr. Pupkevich also worked as a Senior Software Developer at Engineering Technical Center. His brilliant professional skills in software development and scheduling estimation help him to act as a Senior Project Manager and lead all projects in Qulix successfully. Mr. Pupkevich holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering from Belarusian State University of Informatics and Radioelectronics. He is also a prize-winner of the Republican competition of scientific works on the development of automation system for the atomic-absorbing spectrometer.

Alexander Sliborsky

Director of MS Technologies Department/Senior Projects Manager

Alexander Sliborsky brings extensive experience in .Net technologies to Qulix since 2002. Previously he served as a software developer in Bank Technologies Center where his responsibilities included design and implementation of software products. In Qulix Mr. Sliborsky succeeded in several hi-tech projects with primary duties on common architecture and design, workflow implementation, new technologies investigation and code refactoring. Mr. Sliborsky has a Grade A Diploma and Bachelors degree from Belarusian State University of Informatics and Radioelectronics, is a participant of several international conferences in Artificial Intelligence.

Dmitry Yankovich

Director of Mobile Solutions Department / Senior Projects Manager

Mr. Yankovich works with Qulix Systems for several years as a Senior Projects Manager in wireless / mobile solutions area. Starting from 2006 he serves as the Director of Mobile solutions department controlling and managing the whole operations within that sector, supervising running projects, going into innovations and developing people skills. Dmitry has more than 15 years of experience in IT sphere, including embedded systems, development for Symbian, Palm, Windows Mobile and other platforms.

Serge Zhirko

Senior Projects Manager

As a Senior Projects Manager, Serge Zhirko takes charge of the activities of a variety running projects. Serge contributes to defining Qulix' development strategy and positioning, as well as to company internal organization and growth. Along with strong managerial skills, Serge brings to Qulix his vast experience in team building and supervision, training and people management. For more than 12 years, Serge has been active in the software industry, performing a variety of roles, such as researcher, developer, analyst, team lead, project manager, etc. Serge possesses deep insight into software engineering and project management processes, methodologies, practices; software quality systems, incl. ISO 9001, CMM/CMMI. Serge holds a PhD degree in Computer Science from Belarussian State University.

Yulia Migalenya

Marketing Manager

Yulia Migalenya works as a Marketing Manager at Qulix Systems. She is responsible for analytical investigation of additional market channels and search for new business opportunities for the Company as well as for development and fulfillment of its marketing strategy. Yulia also takes care of all Qulix’ media resources and marketing documentation. Her sociability, versatile mind and inquisitive powers enable Yulia to be successful in her professional activities. Ms Migalenya has obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in economic science and linguistic.
