Taptx

Overview

Taptx is an application for mobile iPhones. It gives an opportunity to communicate using different IM services (Yahoo, Google Talk, etc).

Taptx also includes TalkTX, BBC News RSS, BBC Weather RSS, BBC Sport RSS.

TalkTX

Talktx is Instant Messenger (IM). It provides momentary messages exchange in network.

The specific feature of Talktx is that it unites users’ accounts in such popular IMs as Google Talk, Yahoo, MSN, AIM (iChat), AOL in one account – account in Talktx. So the user has one general contact list consisted of contact lists of all its accounts in IMs. It gives an opportunity to have a chat with any person in this general contact list.

Management of the contacts list is carried out in real time. It means that when the user add or delete contact it will be added or deleted in the IM.

BBC Sports

BBC Sport is a set of current news for iPhone.

BBC News

BBC News is a set of current news for iPhone. The user can choose and customize which it wishes to view.

BBC Weather

BBC Weather is an RSS from www.bbc.co.uk. It returns weather forecast for selected areas for 3 days.

Road Runner

This module allows receiving information by RSS about incidents on the Highway Agency’s roads www.highways.gov.uk.
