The customer is a large software development European company providing end-to-end treasury and risk management solutions for major banks and corporations.
Qulix was engaged as software development services provider for development of flagship product of the customer. The customer was interested to have a solution, which provides Financial Service Providers with web-based technology to improve cash management activities for their corporate clients, including such options as central management tools for reporting and configuration, local management tools for cash forecasting and reconciliation, central system for connecting multiple banks, multi language and multi skin support for international customers.
Additionally, customer requested to implement comprehensive set of security mechanisms, such as various types of user access level identification, secured data transmission and other. Also, it was required to have a very easy way of user connection to the system, without any client part installation, using just internet browser.
Rational Unified Process was used as process framework for the project with iterative approach. Main technologies and products used for the project were: J2EE platform with BEA WebLogic or JBoss as application server, Citrix Metaframe, Oracle or MSSQL as database management system. Software was built as multi-tier enterprise application.
The project was executed in timely manner and within budget. Currently the customer is able to offer a high-end ASP solution for treasury managers all over the world.
