VLE: What's the value of leadership in your understanding?

AAR: A leader is someone who brings out the best in us, who inspires us to do our best, who causes to think about the longer term, the bigger picture. A leader is someone who causes us to focus not on the obstacles but on how to get things done especially in business domain. This is someone who has sheer force in his deeds so strategic planning helps to go with the times. A leadership is a visionary who has the ability to articulate goals, business objectives, and aspirations. A leader must also have an appreciation of the differences in people - not only in gender or race, but in views or philosophy. This is especially important in IT nowadays as we know that IT domain is rapidly growing.

VLE: And who is a successful leader?

AAR: A successful leader must have a sense of who the people in his company are and where they come from. This is not only awareness about their knowledge base and set of skills but their personal characteristics as well.

VLE: Conventional corporate structure is challenged to keep up with the rate of change in the marketplace. Creating a vision and a direction is more important than ever. What are the most important aspects in Business development?

AAR: Well, first of all this is Business Plan Design and Development. A current and well-designed formal business plan is the foundation of any successful business. Sometime sit is not easy to convey excellent ideas into a fully developed business plan. It then becomes a living document that requires constant monitoring and customization to meet existing and emerging business opportunities.

Then Strategic and Financial goal alignment follows. It is important to identify important 'Strategic Driver' and critical success factors. Then Initiation and Formulation of Strategic Business partnerships go. These are relationships that leverage your visibility, capability, your market presence. It grows your business at a much faster pace.

VLE: Are there any specific approaches in Qulix Systems to running a business.

AAR: The aim of Business development department of Qulix Systems is to make profitable and well-informed decisions about the IT market and launching of our new projects. We individually design each assignment to meet all requirements of our clients' cost effectively. We explore all practical opportunities before finalizing the work and always endeavor to meet the spirit of a contract as well as meeting the agreed terms.

VLE: How to achieve extraordinary results with ordinary people and who are the 'Right People' for the organization?

AAR: Attracting and retaining people in today's marketplace is a war for talents and the most important factor for success in today's knowledge-based economy. Top-management of Qulix Systems and I personally maintain that superior talent potential is a prime source of competitive advantage. In the new economy competition is global, capital is abundant, ideas are developed quickly and people are willing to change jobs often. In that kind of environment all that matters is talent.
