Corporate History
The company was founded in 2000 on the basis of BelHard corporation, by an inspired team of entrepreneurs from Belarus, who realized that there was tremendous opportunity in providing IT outsourcing services to clients globally by forging together the outstanding talent in software development available in Belarus and good management and customer oriented work culture as practiced in the West.
Qulix was initially created as a pure QA outsourcing company oriented on providing various quality assurance services to its Clients including software test automation solutions, performance testing, functionality testing and many others. That's how our first commercial direction was established that became a perfect basis for evolving further, since expertise in Quality Management helped us to achieve higher level of maturity in such current directions as offshore software development, IT consulting and others.
Our Size
At present Qulix is a very dynamic company constantly extending its services and researching new directions. Having more than 150 permanent employees plus several qualified contractors allows our company to provide required capacity and service level for current and future engagements.
Our Experience
Since our birth we have been involved into more than 100 projects with total workload of more than 200 man/years.
Our Location
Headquarters of Qulix is located in the center of Minsk, the capital of Belarus. The city was the center for microelectronics and information technology development in the former Soviet Union. Today Minsk has a population of more than two million and more than a dozen universities and colleges specializing in Information Technology. Every year we invite 20 perspective students to our company for internship, and currently our HR database contains more than 1000 interviewed specialists.
In addition, we have own offices in United Kingdom and Russia, plus representative in USA. Such distribution helps us in serving our clients better, simplifies legal issues and increases general efficiency of operations.
Training facilities
To prepare "a dream team" we decided to create a training centre where our top specialists can assess and train newcomers in such disciplines as software testing and quality management, Rational & Mercury tools, software development methodologies, etc. Currently we cooperate closely with Interface, a Russian consulting company, in this field.

There have been five stages of growth in the institutional history of Qulix:

- 2001: "Outsourcing software development services vendor"
- 2002-2006: "Outsourcing boom"
- 2006-now: "Offshore integrator"
Qulix was founded as an Offshore QA company accenting mostly on software quality assurance.
We've moved corporate focus to Outsourcing software development activities while keeping QA direction.
In 2002 it was clear for us that outsourcing trend will continue to grow in the following years. Western companies show increasing interest to Byelorussian IT market establishing local offices and software development centers. It was the year of significant business expansion in Qulix.
Since many software houses from Europe and USA were looking for an opportunity to establish an offshore software development center in Belarus, we have created a new direction in our business - IT Outsourcing consulting, helping Western companies to be successful in offshore development. Now we moved our development focus in direction of ODC establishment and on long-term engagements with our clients.
