16. Displays Calibration
The main goal of a project was to create a color calibrating product. Calibration problems occur because every computer monitor shows particular colors in a different way. Even basic colors can look dramatically different when viewed on different computers or screens. If the same image is viewed on two different display devices, the colors are likely to appear dissimilar due to the different physical characteristics and/or the different contrast/brightness settings of the two display devices. This problem, namely to communicate color veridically across different platforms, is often addressed by color calibrating a display device with specialized calibration.

17. Document Workflow System
The University of Liverpool has very intensive flow of documents on different aspects of its operations. The problem is that different departments have several different document management systems and very weak integration capabilities. The idea was to create a solid solution for documents flow management, which can be used by several departments with single entry point. There was already developed intranet portal on basis of MS SharePoint Portal Server, so it was decided to use the same platform for further development including ability to easily integrate new DocFlow system into this portal.

18. Form Filler
The personnel of the company work with a large number of data, information resources and systems. Sometimes there arises a need to transfer accumulated data to third-party databases or convert it into orders to third-party service providers. Transferring thousands of data objects requires painful manual efforts and will undoubtedly put customer's personnel off its key responsibilities, which may result in financial loss for the company. So the need to develop a solution that will allow the staff to use automated form filling was obvious.

19. Google Search Integration
The client had internal system based on MS WSS purposed for registration of internal documents, articles and protocols. The system contained documents in different states - simple WSS documents, MS Word and MS Excel attachments, MS PowerPoint slides, HTML pages. The problem was to have quick and reliable search engine within that system with "Google-like" requirement.

20. Hedge Funds Optimizer
The main goal of the system is creation of Hedge Fund Optimization solution and risk management system. A hedge fund is an investment fund charging a performance fee and is typically open to a limited range of investors. Investing in hedge funds requires knowledge of the extreme risks, which are always undergoing the increased scrutiny of both investors and regulators. It is a common thing that taking financial decisions supported by solid scientific models is the best way to add value to investors' portfolios in the long run and to outperform their peers. The specific complexity of the hedge fund industry requires state-of-the-art financial solutions.

21. Corporate Intranet Portal
The main goal of that project was to create a world-class intranet/internet portal which will use latest technologies in software and will integrate a set of available systems client had at those moment. The point was to develop Internet part as well as Intranet part, providing internal and external users with appropriate access to corporate information. The project included development and reverse engineering of several in-house applications which did not support integration interfaces.

22. Provisional Expenses Calculation System
The information system "Provisional Expenses" is a part of this complex system and is purposed to collect data about various government departments' future activities and conduct their automatic expenses calculation with integrated control over the correctness of calculation and initial data.

23. Public Procurement Automation
The customer was faced with new legislative regulations that imposed strict requirements on procurement process. The breach of regulations may result in procurement results' protestation and cancellation. The procedures used customer personnel to prepare procurement documents were not automated. All documents were made by manually using Microsoft Office: requests for proposal - in Microsoft Word, main stages were tracked in Microsoft Excel, reports were written by hand on pre-printed forms. Considering new rules that mainly set up new time-constraints and restricted procedures execution, the customer could not rely upon old outdated practices any longer as they might result in transactions cancellation and financial loss.

25. UNICEF HIV Database
HIV Database is a system that contains all information about patients that are AIDS positive. It's a web-project, but was developed as substitution for the old Access-based system. High level of information security is priority here. The program contains modules for administration, patients registration, search, import from Access, report building. The system is intended to help with epidemiologic information analysis of HIV positive cases.

28. Schedule Management and Booking System for Care-workers
AiMeS have developed an in-house scheduling algorithm that allocates care-workers to clients who require care at specified locations and at certain times during the day. The exact details of the algorithm itself are confidential. The aim of this project was to develop a prototype system that will enable external bodies to utilize this algorithm by the use of a Web Service.
