1. Automated Electricity Metering System "Continium"
The system is designed for automated registration, accumulation and processing of detailed electrical consumption information for public sector and industrial customers. Today the electricity sale stage is one of the most important ones both for energy companies and consumers. Any mistakes and inaccuracies on this stage influence economic results of both energy companies and consumers directly. That is why automated electricity metering systems (AEMS) with the technology of data transmission via electricity supply network represent the most prospective solution for communal services companies.

2. Business process automation via custom ERP system development
24 Online is a major service provider which has a lot of different equipment like routers, wires, switches, different channels etc. With time the amount of equipment as well as amount of clients have been growing and therefore customer decided to perform automation of such processes as registration of network equipment, registration of clients and their connection profiles, management and balancing of workload for installed equipment, invoicing and payments, etc.

3. E-Procurement application (EPROC)
Having significant business experience in e-commerce domain, the client jointly with partner company decided to create own ASP solution which will provide higher level of service automation and integration. There was already existing system which needed to be reworked, since a lot of functions were obsolete, not friendly for end user or missed. The target of this project was to perform business analysis of the existing system, review end-users wishes and to develop required solution, which will substitute the existing system. Also, a lot of additional functionality is planned for project continuation (like PDA interface, Project management system).

4. Mobile GPS application porting
The client application is split into two parts: one user-interface-independent engine part that is almost the same for all platforms and that can easily be ported and maintained between systems, and one user-interface part (UI) that is connected to the user-interface-independent engine part. The UI often needs manual adaptation to work on different platforms since the screen layout, operating-system user-interface components and its API, input methods and so on might differ between platforms. The goal of the project was to port UI to various platforms, namely Pocket PC and Smartphone.

5. Making people closer via web conferencing
The idea of the project was to create a truly competitive set of applications in the sphere of web conferencing, audio and video conferencing, so that anyone can use EIDOS WC for general meetings with just a web browser and a telephone or one of the specialized applications for online events, training, sales, and support.

6. Using portal solution to integrate corporate resources
The personnel of the company work with a large number of software solutions, information resources and systems. These resources can be accessed only form the local network of the company. If the user is outside of the local network, he cannot use the internal resources. That is why there appeared the need to develop a system that will allow the personnel to work efficiently outside of the office having all needed resources within reach.

7. Multimedia CD/DVD publishing application
The Client was looking for a possibility to integrate all the process stages into a single software product to increase the production performance. Qulix was engaged as a software development company for the task.

8. Claims Worksheet Automation
Environmental Claims Worksheet application is a new development within the client's system. The system is a combination of client-server multi-functional Visual Basic application, .NET application, and J2EE application. Environmental Claims Worksheet application provides data entry and validation functions to the claims information database.

9. Financial Services
The client has a J2EE-based application with lots of screens, flows, and PL/SQL, which processes given information and communicates it to Product Database. After messages are written into database, certain calculations have to be run (called secondary posting processes), and then a different kind of message has to be sent out to create actual financial product.

10. Contract Management System
The system is a fully automated, web-based contract management solution. Users can create and manage the contract documents and templates within the application using functionality delivered via Web-based user interface. There are however situations where it is necessary to be able to work on these documents outside of the core application. This may be necessary for contract negotiations where the document must be sent to the other party for their review. The client faced the task of developing a proper import/export converter for the CM system, minimizing his costs and at the same time ensuring high quality.

11. Centralized Network Patches Management
The customer never had an outsourcing experience before, so it was a very complex decision to go this way to decrease total costs. Qulix was awarded as an outsourcing partner for pilot project of 4 months duration.

12. Solution for Cash Management Activities
Qulix was engaged as software development services provider for development of flagship product of the customer. The customer was interested to have a solution, which provides Financial Service Providers with web-based technology to improve cash management activities for their corporate clients, including such options as central management tools for reporting and configuration, local management tools for cash forecasting and reconciliation, central system for connecting multiple banks, multi language and multi skin support for international customers.

13. Document Circulation System
The client was faced with the fact that his document circulation system, written on C language and based on client-server architecture, was out-of-date and demanded thorough review. Moreover, modules in different department were not integrated, which resulted in serious lags and hindrances in document movement within the organization. The client needed a refashion of the whole system including Database redesign and data porting with the possibility of further integration of modules in different departments into the unified system.

14. MMS Application for Mobile phones
The cellular communication market is a rapidly growing one as new technologies are being developed and deployed. The multimedia messaging service (MMS) is one of such technologies that is gaining acceptance widely and being deployed in cellular networks worldwide. Our company has been involved in the development of an integrated EMS/MMS client including GUIs and audio/video processing & transmission components for a mobile phone.

15. Corporate Information System
The actual customer was a large Russian investment holding that has more than 15 separated businesses with the main company headquartered in Moscow. Every company has its own data management processes, necessary for business workflow maintenance, mainly using standard Microsoft Office facilities and MS Outlook as a mailing service system. So the necessity in a coordination system development has emerged. The system had to provide collection and storage of information and its ergonomic presentation in the form of screen forms with the opportunity to print them.
